The good folks at Bed Stu make a strong statement with their ”Gulf Coast Cleanup” collection of footwear. The looks speak for the themselves. The focus is on cleaning up the mess left in Gulf of Mexico from this year’s spill. With that focus in mind, Bed Stu will donate 100% of the profits from the sale of the “Gulf Coast Cleanup” collection to the National Wildlife Federation. The collection will hit stores around November 2010.

First of all, big up to Bed Stu for their activism– not to mention this is such a brilliant piece of art within the context of design. I have always said I would never buy a pair of boatshoes, I may have to break that promise for a pair of these.
