Anyone who knows me well or even slightly well knows that I’m a product junkie to the core. I have scoured far and wide for my collection and so I wanted to share a few of my faithful favorites, tried and true that come with not just pretty packaging (which is very important to me) but a wonderful result!

I’m endlessly fascinated with Pyrite (a.k.a. fools gold) and the way it forms naturally in cubes and other angular dimensions. Also great for creativity. Picked up this unbelievable handmade pyrite ring from Adina Mills at the Artisan Flea market in Williamsburg this past wkend. I’m her new fan...

LIFE UPDATE! I'M BACK!
So I know there has been a blogging dry spell but I’m back and ready to share my life over the last few months with you and onwards….
Finding a place to begin seems overwhelming so I’m just going to let the images speak mostly for themselves.
The most important news I have however is that over the last months I’ve been hard at work on my new album which is scheduled to...

David Mancuso's Loft Party
A few weeks back I had the privelage of attending one of legendary DJ David Mancuso’s infamous ‘Loft’ parties. At moments I got quite teary eyed with nostalgia for what must have been in the good ol’ day’s of New York nightlife! While times have definitely changed, the magic of good ol’ disco still lingers in the air!

ASIA!!
Like an idiot I forgot my camera on my trip to Asia so my iphone was my only source hence the lame quality of these pics. All I can say is that these pics barely even capture a crumb of the amazingness of this trip. I had the most incredible time performing at Jisan Valley Rock Festival in Korea, Fujirock in Japan and Singfest in Singapore. Every place was magical and I can’t wait to go...
Dreams...
I finally saw Inception last night and while I thought it was amazing, I couldn’t help but be a little disappointed at the lack of complexity and overall rationality within the dreams. Where were the flying lizzards and melting walls?
It got me thinking about my own dreams and just how weird they are. One in particular was this dream I had a few years ago which left me so mystified upon...
FRANCE!
Sorry guys, I’m way lagging here on the blog front. Lots of catching up to do. I just got back from Asia where I had the most amazing time, BUT, I’m gonna start with France since I haven’t told you about it and it was such an epic experience. Will try to have Asia to you tomorrow.
So, let’s start off by saying that I experienced probably the greatest concert of my...

Hyde Park Festival....
What a great day today in Hyde Park! The weather was fab and the line up was amazing. From Jamiroquai to Rox, James Morrison, etc,…all who did an excellent job! To play on the bill with Stevie Wonder was an absolute honor. His performance was incredible and had me dancing, singing, crying & laughing all simultaneously…..despite the drunken masses around me….It was...
London update...
But first Paris for a lovely 3 days… I was so thrilled to have my best friend Jen there coincidentally as well! We got to gab and do a tad bit of sightseeing which is rare given our crazy schedules as of late.
My usual visit to the EMI France offices left me feeling slightly concerned after seeing the amount of energy it takes to run a record biz….damn!

It’s not always convenient….
and sometimes truck stops are the only places to do yoga….
and at times it’s like taking a trip back thru the 90’s….

BROOKLYN'S BEST!
I went to the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg the other night to see my dear friends from ZAZA play yet another wonderful show! If you don’t know them you need to. They’ve been my band of choice since I saw them play last summer and their dreamy epic sound grabbed me by the gut. They are about to go on tour thru Europe opening for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I can guarantee a feast...

FIRSTLY, SORRY FOR THE LONG DELAY ON THIS BUT HERE YOU GO FOLKS…
After a little dose of home in NY, we headed out on a long long drive to Detroit.

Tour Journal- PhiLLy
Philly warmed my heart but froze my ass off :)
Ok so here’s a funny story…..well it’s funny now;
So, after a nice couple days back home in NY we set off for Philly. After loading my suitcase into the van, assuming my bf was going to put his case in after me, I closed the back door partially. Didn’t think anything of it until a few hours later when we got to our hotel...
Tour Journal- NYC
Being back home for a couple days was a treat in itself not to mention playing the Beacon Theater. It was definitely a magical experience and the crowds both nights were unbelievable! It was a short but sweet stay and much needed to remind me how much I love this city!
